Camcorp is expanding and on a mission to find a strong Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for oversight, sales assistance, recruitment, and training of our field sales representatives across specific regions in North America. But first, let us tell you a little about us and what we do.

- General responsibility and ownership for Manufacturer’s Representative Sales in your region
- Conduct research to identify qualified applicants for positions as prime representatives in your region’s marketing sectors.
- Make appointments, reach out to possible reps, and offer the Camcorp business concept and portfolio.
- Stay in touch with current reps, develop lines of communication, and offer support to help them increase their current Camcorp sales targets.
- Reduce territorial disputes and the need for replacements or rep cancellations.
- Educate new reps on the product lines’ technical and application features.
- Validate rep requests for quotes (RFQs) before the quotations team generates a quote.
- Provide forecasts to the Camcorp executive group
- Customer calls with representatives to important clients in order to broaden their expertise and improve their capacity to market Camcorp goods.
- Work together on strategic pricing and positioning for important projects with sales reps.
- Use defined metrics to track representatives’ performance and create a clear plan of action for taking the necessary steps to improve overall sales performance.
- Retain awareness of current market trends and rivalry and offer advice to the company’s marketing and sales departments.
- Make organized, well-coordinated travel arrangements as needed in their area.
Skills You Need to Bring with You
From a technical perspective, our ideal candidate will bring the following skills and experience with them:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or a related field with comparable real-world expertise.
- A track record of managing outside field sales representatives and providing sales support.
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities, a powerful communicator, and an inspiration.
- High-energy, self-starting, self-motivated, and self-directed person.
- Proficient communication abilities both in writing and speaking.
- Excellent computer skills, especially familiarity with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- The capacity to organize and prioritize a variety of jobs and activities.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing setting is required; relevant operational knowledge will be assumed, with a focus on experience from businesses that produce pneumatic conveying or air pollution control equipment.
- The capacity to delegate tasks, organize one’s workload efficiently, communicate coherently, and work under pressure.
- Strong critical thinking ability, and competent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- A personal values system that aligns with the guiding principles and policies of the organization and includes the highest levels of allegiance, honesty, integrity, and professional ethics.
