Glass bends are ideal for applications requiring extended wear life beyond that experienced with standard stainless-steel bends, such as transmitting highly abrasive plastic pellets and similar abrasive materials. Glass bends are designed to match the inside diameter of 16-gauge tubing, eliminating the step that exists with metric dimension products. Bends are available at 90° and 45° with a diameter of either 9 or 18 inches. Also available are couplings with stepped gaskets to connect bends to tubing.
